DiSabatino Receives DuPont Company’s 2004 CCIT Safety Award

DiSabatino Maintenance employees have received yet another Safety Award for their continued safety efforts on the DuPont Company’s sites. The CCIT (Construction Continuous Improvement Team) Safety Award was accepted on behalf of our Maintenance Department by Bob Manning, Safety Director for DiSabatino Enterprises at the semi annual meeting of DuPont Partners held in Wilmington Delaware.
DiSabatino Maintenance services the DuPont Company’s Wilmington Office Building, Beech Street Engineering, Chestnut Run Plaza, Barley Mill Plaza, Experimental Station and Stein Haskell Labs facilities and employs 185 people.
The Safety Award is presented to the most deserving sites where Dupont’s FC&S has responsibility and accountability for construction management. There are both objective and subjective criteria which must be met for a site to qualify for this award. This award was presented to DiSabatino Maintenance for having zero lost-workday cases and a Total Recordable Frequency Rate of less than 0.39 for the year 2004. DiSabatino Maintenance’s TRFR for 2004 was 0.000.
“With over 750,000 exposure hours without an OSHA recordable injury it is a proven fact that safety excellence is expected of our employees and everyone strives to give a 100% effort” stated Manning in accepting the award.
