The brand new Family Resource Center on the third floor of the AI duPont Hospital for Children has been completed by DiSabatino Construction. Working with a tight schedule, DiSabatino's project team worked hard to complete this project so the Center could open its doors to children and families who will utilize this new area for years to come.
The project included several common living areas, a kitchen, several sleeping rooms for the parents and families of patients, a large recreation area, a library and learning areas, some administrative rooms, and a laundry room. These areas will all be used to create a community for the parents and families of patients at the Children's Hospital.
Working with Mitchell Architects throughout the project, DiSabatino was able to deliver a finished product that exceeded the expectations of the facilities management at the AI duPont Hospital.
